TYPES OF FRAUD
There are different types of fraud that are actionable under the False Claim Act. The two biggest areas involve defense contractor fraud and Medicaid/Medicare fraud. There are also other miscellaneous types of fraud. The most common types of fraud are listed below under the three specific areas. Please be aware that tax fraud is not actionable under the False Claims Act.
